These are all tradiotion lanterns which use candles to light up and it indeed more meaningful then the lanterns that used battery/light bulbs.
Sept-14-2008 which is Chinese calendar on 15th of the 8th Month, there was a mooncake festival gathering in Thang Xian temple, celebration with lanterns, singing songs, guessing the lantern puzzle, eating mooncake, meehun.........................
